Product Description The St. Maure hails from the Loire Valley, the most important goat-cheese producing area in France. It often comes with a straw inserted down its center to help keep its shape and ensures that the maturation process remains evenly distributed throughout the body of the cheese. It has a lovely round flavor, slightly sweet, slightly sour, and slightly salty. Pairs extremely well with a white wine such as a Pouilly Fuisse, or with a light red such as a Chinon.
