This CD includes both opening and ending songs as well as the score to the series.

The opening and closing themes are both very good. The ending song is very bouncy and energetic. The opening song is very fun and yet laid-back. Both are the same length as on the TV show, I'm not sure there even is an extended version of them out there.

The score numbers are really what make this CD worth buying. It reminds me of some of Hisaishi works, it's got lovely instrumentals that really bring the images of the small costal town and the shrine into your head. The music did such a wonderful job of bringing the right atmosphere to the show. There are a few tracks that I occasionally skip when I'm listening, but the majority of them are worth hearing again and again.

This soundtrack covers pretty much all the songs from Kamichu -- and there aren't any "wasted" tracks primarily filled with talking. If you like Kamichu, this is definitely a good addition to the dvd's.

Great sound track. The instrumental music is rich and dynamic. This is basicly the same CD released in Japan. The only differances are the titles and the packaging. Great music all around. It has upbeat songs, slower ones, and ones that are in between.
