This item is geared towards woman, however we found a different use for it. It was originally ordered for my son to use as part of his Indiana Jones Halloween Costume, which was a perfect accent to the whole look and handy to carry his candy. Now that halloween has passed he has found it helpful to take along with him on his scout outings, it's the perfect size to hold his handbook, note pad, and other supplies, it is also a perfect color match to the official khaki green scout pants too!

I use this for a tiny Dell Mini 9 computer. It holds the computer in the large zippered pocket and the power adapter and USB cable in the smaller front zippered pocket. It's "rustic" enough that it doesn't say "take me" like most branded computer cases do.

This bag was purchased as part of my son's Indiana Jones costume. It worked perfectly as the field bag Indie usually carries with him. My son is 7 and it was a perfect size for his stature. I would not recommend this bag for school books since it's smaller than the average messenger bag.

This bag is very high quality-higher than what it looks like in the photo. The description doesn't show inside photos but it has one large zippered main pocket that holds a lot, another zipper front pocket under the flap (velcro closure) and a 3rd zipper on the back of the purse. Carries my small planner and everything else I keep in my purse - wallet, brush, compact, phone, pen, gloss, etc. Exactly what I was looking for.
