Customer Reviews Amazon is the best! December 16, 2008 Richard L. Adams (New York, NY)
Fast delivery, a good price and an excellent product -- what more can I say? I live in a tiny Manhattan apartment and love to cook. My favorite piece of cookware is a piece of Le Creuset that I bought like 15 years ago. Thanks to this purchase, I have greatly expanded my collection of this brand and could not be happier!

from Lets Make a Deal-I didnt even know Le Creuset made lower quality cookware.I felt completely bummed when I removed all my cookware-I dont see this being worth 300 without the sale-to me at 150 I feel it was too much.I wouldnt bother if you are looking for what most people think of when they think Le Creuset.
Not all Le Creuset is created alike. November 1, 2008 J. Ganley 13 out of 14 found this review helpful
When you think Le Creuset you think of the lovely enameled cast-iron dutch overns, right? Beautiful colors from peacock blue to the traditional French-country burnt red. And while these cooking pots look like that Le Creuset image, they are not. This set is enamel on steel--this means that you have the a chipable enamel on top of your steel base--not enamel on cast iron. While the steel does afford great heat conduction, most high-quality cookware is steel. And while the enamel is pretty, I don't seek "pretty" for my pots--I want high function like All-Clad. So, these pots are pretty and functional, but not really worth the price. And they are still quite heavy, and my tops aren't broiler-safe. I much prefer my All-Clad or the Costco All-Clad knock-off.
