Got the Wii and this battery for my kids for Christmas, and this rechargeable battery won't charge - despite leaving it plugged into my computer for days. Bogus!

I have had a great experience with these batteries. We used to change the remote batteries nearly every day-it was getting ridiculously expensive so I bought two of these to see if they would help; they work perfectly, so much so that I bought two more. I plug them in every night or every other night depending on how much we use the Wii. The remotes haven't lost power during use at all. We love them...you can't go wrong.

I purchased two of these.

PRO:
* Good integration into the Wii controller
* Fits under the new Wii rubber jacket
* Convenient USP cables plug into the back
of the Wii to recharge the batteries
* Saves the environment

CON:
* The Wii remote uses so much power that you
have to recharge these nearly every day.
* These include an AAA size rechargable cell.
The Wii uses AA batteries. This causes this
product to use up the charge too fast.

Bottom line: The product works, but not well enough for a good recommendation.

I ordered two of these battery packs, and neither of them will charge. Both will light the charging lamps when plugged in, but the Wii Remote will not power up--not when it's plugged in nor unplugged after charging continuously for over a day.

Save your money.

This product is perfect! You plug the cord directly into the Wii and recharge your Wii remote! No more wasting money on batteries! And the great thing about these rechargeable battery packs is they dont add any extra bulk to the Wii remote and those nifty little silicone covers fit over the battery and I just sliced out a little square to open up the charge receptor! These are great!
