This is a pretty good gate. Helpful that it came all connected already. We use it in a U-shape with the couch sealing off the "U". We do need to put stuff on the other side for support as my baby can push the gate and stand up holding onto the gate and shake it. He can push the gate open but at least it keeps him away from the TV and fireplace.

This is almost a necessity when you purchase the Superyard XT.

HINT: Do NOT buy two extensions, as the superyard becomes unstable with more than one set added (per manufacturers specifications).

I bought the extension in anticipating that in a few months we would have to make the playard a larger size. Love it. Works well, sturdy, transportable with the playard. I would recommend getting this extension along with the playard.

I bought the right ones and inexpensive... Keep in mind that the gate does not have swing door. If I was shorter than 5'3", I could not cross over the gate. Other than that it was great buy.

it worked great for a baby camping in Yosemite, kept her safe, she loved playing in it.
