We got my daughter this jeep for her 2nd birthday. The smile alone that we got when she saw it was worth it. She jumped in and started driving. The only problem we have run into is the tires. They spin on grass. I'm looking for the bands to put on them to fix the problem. It wasn't to hard to put together. Took my husband about an hour. I did like that we got to put the stickers on. This way you can choose how decorated you want it.
Great fun! June 30, 2005 Mendy Montgomery
This toy is durable and fun. I purchased it even though some people wrote it was a hazzard. My 3 and 5 year old love it. It is made for younger kids ( as the age range suggests) whoever, puts a 10 year old on this is not very smart to begin with and is looking for trouble! This toy is great for the age range specified. It will keep a 3-7 year old happy for hours, but any kid over 7 has no business on a 12 volt plastic ride on toy! People need to use their own judgment and not write these silly reviews about how their old kids got hurt on these toys.
2 Year Old Fell In Love June 26, 2005 Loving Mom (California) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
My daughter's Daddy bought this Barbie Jeep for her when she was only a few months shy of her 2nd birthday. I had doubts that she would enjoy it since she was so young, but after a few of her friends came over and rode it with her, she was soon driving it and mastering the jeep by herself. She is almost 3 and a half now and has been loving it ever since. It has brought much joy to our household, and we look forward to many more years to come!
Durable and fun June 19, 2005 Douglas Dowers (Londonderry, NH USA) 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
I bought this for my daughter when she was 4. She just turned 7 and is a little too big for it but still loves driving it. At the same time I bought the John Deere "Gator" for my son who is 1 1/2 years younger. I like the Power Wheels slightly better than the Gator. It has a better turning radius, it is a little faster, it has a little more power going up hills and so far it has been more durable. She runs it every day during the summer and we charge it every night. It will in most case run as long as she wants to use it for that day. The hood lifts up for easy access to the battery for charging. We found that if we don't charge it every night it will die withing a few hours the next day. Also we forgot the first year to bring the battery in during the winter and so we had to buy another the next year. She has about a 1/2 acre to drive on and except for the driveway it is all grass, a little dirt and just a few rises going from one yard to the other. I made her keep it in first gear the first year until she got used to it. But now she leaves it in second gear all the time and even now it is fast enough. The John Deere "Gator" has a screw in it that prevents second gear. I removed that screw the next year for my son so he also stays in second gear most of the time. Not sure why some other reviewers had problems with their Barbie Jeep. Maybe I just got lucky because mine has been trouble free. I also can't imagine how this thing could tip over. But as I said, I don't have any really steep areas that she drives on. I did have a gearing problem with the John Deere "Gator" but when I contacted the company about it they sent out 2 new replacement gear boxes no questions asked. I haven't had any problems with that vehichle since so maybe it was an engineering problem. Even so I feel the Power Wheels is the better product and would definitely recommend it. If for no other reason to see the joy on your childs face as she drives it around the yard.

I bought this power wheel (barbie -tune jeep) not even a year ago for my niece. The charger had stopped charging and now i am forced to buy another one sense my 5 year loves this jeep. This is the second vehicle in 3 years that had given me problems , my sons was the battery . I wouldn't recommmend this toy UNLESS your prepared to spend money within months after purchasing .
