I've had no problems with this rug pad. It stays in place and gives adequate cushioning to my wool rug. Before using, I unfolded it and aired it out for about a day in the back yard (protected from rain)and didn't have any problem with the odor after it was under the rug.

The pad for some reason keeps bunching up under my rug. I've been spending a lot of time trying to keep it flat. I even trimmed it a bit hoping that would help but to no avail. There are better rug pad out their for much cheaper- I got new one from West Elm.

The Premium-Lock Rug Pad is a winner! It feels very cushy under my 9 x 12' Chinese carpet. Earlier, I purchased another brand from Home Depot for another large area rug and I wish I had found the Premium-Lock first. This one is far superior for about the same price (or maybe slightly less). I definitely recommend it as a great value in rug pads!

I'll cut to the chase. They shipped the wrong item. As some personal injury attorneys love to say, "One call, that's all." I called them and the error was corrected swiftly, courteously, and professionally. We're talking about an item that costs less than 20 bucks. I know they lost money, buy look at the results. Talk about CRM! Kudos! Wish I could say the same about some of the other Amazon partners. These guys, howver, are gold.

The product was just as described. It is very good at keeping the rugs in place.
