easy flip up filters work well, are easy to change. construction seems very sturdy. i only have 2 minor kinda negatives that people may be interested in: my head is average size and the strap is almost at it's loosest to be comfortable for wear; and the beam is very wide dispersed which is great for working on things at arms length, but it's not the best for trying to view far away objects. it could be used fine for jogging, but if this is your primary purpose, you would be better suited with the other tactical model that has the narrower beam.
