Seeking to help those of lower financial income pick an HDTV that serves their purposes while not bankrupting them all the same. The book had a few items that I didn't already now. However, the amount of money I paid, I thought I would gain a little more knowledge of HDTV's. I would have rated higher if it was about a thrid of the price! The one bright spot was the explanation of brightness and contrast ratios.
