Very,Very Good Stuff! April 9, 2008 J. Lowe (Madisonville,TN) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Let's face it.I'm an older guy who is not impressed with so-called "product" that passes for music these days. Therefore, I am constantly searching for music that I may have overlooked. This CD is a great example.Dada combines strong songwriting, quirky arrangements, tight harmonies, and excellent musicianship. They give a fresh approach to the three member group. If you are seeking something substantial,as opposed to mundane,Dada is very, very good stuff!
Stands out from other '90's debuts January 8, 2008 C. Murphy (Lansdale, PA)
Like just about everybody else, I bought Puzzle based on hearing DizzkneeLand but I quickly came to love every song on the album. As other reviews have stated, Dada has a "rich" sound which comes through their wonderful musicianship. Each song stands on its own as there are no repeating styles. It's just a very solid, listenable CD which I never tire of. "Dim" is a stand out track for me, a rocker which shows off the bands chops. This CD is one I can put on ten years from now and still look forward to the next song.
The best band that not many people know of... October 30, 2007 Jon L. Bullard (Okla(boring)homa)
If you put me on an island and told me I could have only 5 cds to listen to, I couldn't tell you right away what the other cds would be, but I can tell you this would be one of them. Everything you read in these reviews is true. This music never gets old. I keep listening to it and being amazed. It really is an almost perfect collection of music. I live in freakin' Oklahoma and I'll be lucky to ever see them in concert. Let me sum it up for you...they are so good that I really have thought seriously about driving to Denver to see the show. That's only a 10 hour drive from where I live. Please spread this band around...they haven't received the credit they deserve and they need to.
