Holds our DVD player well - I've never felt like it would fall out and feel like it is well protected. We use with the Toshiba 9inch widescrean DVD Player (BTW, we like this DVD player)

Cons:
Not the best quality materials - ours tore a little on one side where the straps attach after just 2 weeks - maybe we were pulling it too tight

Not very stylish - not ugly, but kinda plain and fake black leather looks old manish

The straps are a little too short to set it up as suggested in the instructions between the front seats of our 2007 Toyota Tundra. My husband got creative with it, but now it swings a lot as we're driving. My 20m old doesn't care, but I feel bad.

There are no holes on the sides to allow you to plug headphones or the power charger into it. If your DVD player fits very snuggly, I don't think you'll be able to plug anything into the player.

We recently order this for our portable audiovox DVD player. Our player has an 8 inch screen. I guess we should have measured it and our car seats. The DVD player is too small for the case, so we can't use it for that reason. And the other reason is that it is too big to fit in the position between our seats. It seems to be of good quality but we can't use it because of the reason above. So yes, measure everything before you buy it.
