It gains its performance advantages from a blend of synthetic oils plus Royal Purple's proprietary, synthetic Synerlec additive technology. Synerlec additive technology greatly reduces engine wear, including ring, cylinder, and bearing wear. PURCHASED R P IN FEBUARY FOR MY 04 TACOMA BOUGHT A CASE. FROM THE FIRST OIL CHANGE I NOTICED GREATER HORSEPOWER,AM NOW ON MY SECOND OIL CHANGE AND WILL NEVER USE ANYTHING ELSE.GREAT STUFF! !

I switched from conventional oil to RP synthetic sometime ago and have never looked back. I have doubled the interval time for oil changes and increased motor life and gas mileage at the same time. Good for the environment and good for the check book. That is all i have to say about that!

I've been using this brand oil since 21,000 miles, now 85,000. Once switched I noticed added power thoughout the powerband. Not much, but its smoother idling, revs smoother and just overall feels better over the convential oil that I used to use. I've tired Mobil-One and prefer RP hands down. Its a buck or so more expensive, but its worth it since its the life blood of your engine.
I recommended this oil to friends and they have switched and can't believe the difference.
